Artwork / WAY7DESIGNS

Make your artwork handover easier to act on.

A useful artwork request gives the receiving team more than an image. It explains the application, specifies the expected files and makes the approval criteria clear. Use this checklist before sending a Way7Designs project.

Collect the relevant source

Gather the approved artwork and any linked images or references that explain it. If you only have a screenshot or scan, say so and provide the clearest version available for assessment.

Explain the next production step

Name the process and supplier requirements: embroidery, screen printing or another agreed application. Include finished dimensions, position and the production specification rather than relying on how a file appears on your monitor.

Write instructions that can be checked

List required wording, brand colours, edits and output formats. Number multiple changes or annotate a reference so feedback can be matched to the right element.

Keep the project reference together

Use the same design name or quote reference in your correspondence. Original attachments can be sent through the website form, up to 25 MB combined, without creating a customer account or file vault.

Common questions

Can I submit a brief before I have the final production details?

Yes. Explain which details are still undecided. The studio can review the request, while the final scope depends on the information agreed before production.

Will my attachment be converted before it is emailed?

No. Project uploads are sent as original-format email attachments. Portfolio image optimization is a separate feature for public website images.
