Give an existing design a usable source again.
When the original artwork has been lost or the available image is too limited for the next task, a redraw can reconstruct the agreed elements. We begin with your reference and the intended use, then define the level of fidelity and editing required.
Identify the approved version
Send the best reference available and flag any differences between versions. Exact spelling, line arrangements and brand proportions should be settled before reconstruction begins.
Decide what should change
A faithful redraw and a redesign are different scopes. List corrections or additions explicitly. If the reference is unclear, provide another view or confirm how the missing detail should be handled.
Pay attention to text and colour
Include font names and approved colour references where available. Text handling, outlined lettering and substitute approaches require agreement if the original resources cannot be supplied.
Define the finished handover
Tell us how the file will be used and which software will open it. Native files, vector exports, separate elements and raster previews can then be listed clearly in the quote.
Common questions
Can unclear details be recovered exactly?
A poor reference may not contain enough information to establish the original detail. Additional references or your approval of an interpretation may be needed.
Is creating a new logo included?
A redraw reconstructs supplied artwork. New creative directions or redesign work must be discussed and scoped separately.
