Digitizing that begins with the sewing conditions.
A logo is only the beginning of an embroidery brief. Way7Designs prepares digitizing around the way your design will be sewn, with the agreed garment, scale and machine workflow guiding the file requirements.
Define the application first
A small uniform emblem and a large back design should not be treated as the same production problem. Share the placement, dimensions and type of garment so the brief can account for the available sewing area and level of detail.
Turn visual detail into stitch decisions
Direction, coverage, underlay and sequencing need to work together. Include material information and flag any elements that must be retained. If lettering or detail may need adjustment at the requested size, that decision should be discussed before approval.
Agree your machine deliverables
Tell us which formats the receiving workflow accepts. EMB, PXF, DST, PES and other supported outputs are scoped according to your request. Editable source requirements should be stated separately from machine-ready delivery.
Review on the real material
Your decorator should test the file with the intended fabric, stabilizer and machine setup. Clear sew-out photographs and observations make feedback useful when an agreed revision is needed.
Common questions
Can I resize an existing stitch file for a new garment?
A size change may affect stitch spacing and detail. Send the existing file and the new requirements so the studio can assess whether a revision or a new digitizing brief is appropriate.
Do you quote from the artwork?
Yes. Send the actual design and production information so complexity, deliverables and timing can be reviewed for your project.
